Hello everyone
let's start a new story which is part of the stories and novels in my homeland Gaza so let me tell you how my story began.
I am Lama, a young girl who has just entered the age of youth and is only a few days away from turning 18. Since my early birth, I have been living my days among my family of 7 members (my father Imran, my mother Salwa, and my brothers, the eldest of whom is Mahmoud, 28 years old, Saif El-Din, 26 years old, Mai, 25 years old, Youssef, 20 years old) and I am the youngest of them. Since I was young, I have been living through the wars that were waged by the unjust occupier. In one of those wars, our house was demolished and I and my family members were injured. It is the habit of the occupier to demolish houses over the heads of their residents without prior warning. Days passed, followed by months and years, until I reached this age, which had unforgettable memories, including family gatherings that are unlike the days we are living now. Also, let me tell you about my academic journey, as it is the best part for me. Since the beginning of my studies in elementary school until high school, I was one of the diligent students in their studies and loved school. I was one of the distinguished students among my teachers and instructors, and I received many certificates of excellence and numerous awards. It was like a second home for me that I always It left a beautiful mark and more beautiful memories in my life. I met my friends there and continued my academic journey until I reached the last stage of school (Tawjihi). After that, I was going to start my university story until October 7 came, when life stopped and did not take a positive step until this day. Since that day, my academic journey stopped because of the war. I was unable to complete my studies and literally all doors were closed in my face. We began to struggle in this miserable life and the necessities of life began to decrease day after day. We could hardly obtain water and the prices of food resources rose (even if they existed). My father lost his job and we no longer had an income to live on until the day came when my family and I left my home and began to suffer the tragedy of the tents. You can imagine, dear reader, the difficulty of summarizing your memories and your life in one bag to take with you to the life of displacement. We began to occupy our thoughts about where we would go and where we would find the price of the tent supplies and even if we found the tent, where would we put it and who would be our new neighbor and all those endless questions until we were able to arrange some of them and began We live the tragedy of the tents that are unbearable to live in, neither in summer nor in winter, as they do not protect us from the heat of the sun nor the cold of the evening. In the midst of all this suffering, we received the news of the demolition of our home, which was like a thunderbolt to us. A short time ago, I began completing my educational stage electronically. I cannot tell you about the suffering I encounter in every lesson I study because of the poor internet, in addition to the school supplies whose price has increased many times over. Now I am returning again to prepare my school stationery because I could not take my school supplies. At that time, I did not have enough time to think about taking everything I wanted because time was tight and transportation was difficult, even my school books.
I can afford it up to this point. So please contribute and help me finish my studies and give me a glimmer of hope to create a better future for me and my family.
