Help Lamlik's Family Honor His Legacy
Donation protected
Dear friends and compassionate souls,
We are reaching out to share the story of our beloved father, Lamlik George, a man of unwavering dedication to his family, community, and faith. Lamlik's journey through life has been one of love, service, and tireless commitment to making the world a better place. Born and raised in Namdrik Atoll, Lamlik's life took a beautiful turn when he met our mother, Heromey Benjamin George, on Majuro. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Lamlik's talents as a gifted carpenter, mechanic, and maintenance worker were only matched by his heart of gold and his deep connection to his faith.
Over the years, Lamlik embarked on missions with Father Ariel A. Galido to build and renovate Catholic churches in remote islands, leaving a trail of hope and positivity in his wake. His last mission was to build a new Catholic church on Jaluit Island, a project he completed with pride and dedication.
Recently, tragedy struck our family when Lamlik suffered a sudden and unexpected stroke, leading to his untimely passing on July 7th, 2024, at Majuro Hospital. As our dear father remains in the morgue, we are faced with the task of bringing my family home and laying him to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.
I am seeking your support to help us bring my father’s four children and two grandchildren home so they may have a final chance to reunite with him, say their goodbyes, and carry out his burial service. Your generous contribution will go a long way in easing the financial burden on our family during this difficult time and ensuring that my father Lamlik receives the farewell he deserves.
Please consider donating to my cause and sharing this fundraiser with your network. Together, we can honor Lamlik's legacy of love, service, and faith as we come together to support our family in our time of need.
