Help Landen Get Life-Changing Jaw Surgery

Hi, I'm Laura Hill. I normally don’t come on here and ask for help, but I feel I'm at my wits' end. I've been trying and fighting with the insurance company since 2021. The insurance will cover the surgery but not the braces. We have a year left with his insurance to pay for the surgery cost. I work but only make enough to make ends meet. I've been trying to figure it out, but it seems when I think I can do it, life hits—grief, surgeries.

Anyway, onto my son Landen. Landen needs jaw surgery. His bottom jaw stopped growing/ developing making the upper jaw over grow the bottom jaw. In order to get the jaw surgery, he has to have the braces on first for 6 months, then they will do the surgery. After he heals from that, they will put the braces back on for 1 to 2 years. He does have discomfort and pain when eating. When he eats, his jaws will click and tighten, and he eats really slow due to it. His speech is impacted by it as well.
