Landon Lee and his cousin were in a terrible automobile accident on May 26, 2018. Landon was ejected from the vehicle on the freeway and was then hit by another car. He was taken by medical helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City in extremely critical condition.
Landon suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as skull fractures, a broken neck (C5/C6), facial fractures and a broken jaw. Over the last week the focus of his treatment has been on keeping him sedated and medicated so that the swelling in his brain could be brought under control. He has experienced some improvement, including being able to squeeze his parent's hands and nod slightly on a few occasions. But, he remains in the pediatric intensive care unit under sedation and on a ventilator to allow time for the swelling in his brain to reduce. His prognosis is unclear until more tests can be run once his condition is more stable.
He is facing numerous surgeries and doctors have warned Jack and Silvia to be prepared for a long road of rehabilitation and recovery.
Landon is 14 years old and recently finished the 8th grade at Fillmore Middle School. He participates in football, basketball, and baseball and enjoys doing many activities with his family and friends. He is a great young man and a friend to all.
Please consider donating to help Landon and his family on the path to his healing and recovery. And, please remember Landon in your prayers. THANK YOU!
