Help Laney fight cancer!

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

On Tuesday 4th of March, the Stride family received terrible news - their youngest Daughter Laney was diagnosed with a brain tumour, a devastating and unexpected diagnosis that came with little warning.

What Al & Lauren initially thought was a bout of gastro turned out to be something far more serious.

Laney underwent a long and challenging surgery to remove a small orange-sized tumour from her brain. Thankfully, the operation was a success, but the journey ahead is daunting.

At five years old, Laney should be enjoying her first year of school, making friends, and exploring the world. Instead, she is facing the harsh realities of radiation, chemotherapy and more surgery.

As Laney embarks on this difficult journey, her parents, Al and Lauren are doing everything they can to support her. Unfortunately, Al was in the process of changing jobs before the diagnosis, and Lauren only recently started a new job. However, they are now forced to be full-time caregivers, putting the family under significant financial strain.

The last thing they need to worry about is the burden of medical bills and daily expenses. We are hoping to raise funds to ease this financial pressure, allowing Al and Lauren to be fully present in particular for Laney but also her siblings, Neara and Boston.
