Help Latiyah fund her gender affirmation surgery!

Latiyah is a 26yrs old trans activist from West Africa living in Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast).

She started her transition journey 6yrs ago, and has been trying to get her gender affirmation surgery for the past 3 years -- something that is not available in the Health care services in her country.

To be able to access the surgery, she started saving money and had the chance to get an $8,000 scholarship to cover 40 % of the procedure, which is confirmed for June in San Francisco. Surgery in the U.S. is expensive, and she needs to pay for the other 60 % on her own in addition to travel to/from the U.S., accommodation, etc.

She is looking to raise the final $8,000 to be able to pay for her gender affirmation surgery, which will bring her one step closer to her body acceptance journey.
