Help Latoya rebuild her Daycare and home

Hi, my name is Toya and due to all the storms we have been having in the area, the bottom floor of my home has flooded. It’s a double heartbreak because it’s not only my home but my business as I have an in home daycare and have had to close until things can be replaced and repaired. I do have home insurance but NC doesn’t cover floods and the Red Cross and fema will not assist either. I would not put myself out like this if I really didn’t need it. I work hard for everything I have and I love and miss all the babies I keep but I can not work with my home in this condition. Anything will be such a tremendous help. God bless you!!

So after two weeks of calling insurance they call me this morning to tell me in NORTH CAROLINA A BACK UP DRAIN IS CONSIDERED A FLOOD AND EVERYTHING I LOST IS A LOST AND THEY CANT DONT NOTHING ABOUT IT. Am I upset yes, did I cry yes, but I am thankful for the ones who have donated money,order things for my daycare, help trash things etc but I have along way to go still and will get there in due time. August was the worst month for my business in the past 10 years. I can’t throw in the towel so let the rebuilding begin!
