Help Us Launch Our New Production Company with Our First Play, “Constellations”!

Dear Friends, Family, and Theater Enthusiasts,

My name is Zach Kautter, and I am a senior at Boston University pursuing a BFA in Acting. I have recently started a theater production company called PK Productions in hopes of inspiring others through our stories about human connection. Our team consists of mostly college students, each driven by a passion for the arts and a shared vision of making impactful theater.

Theater has the unique power to bring people together and create empathy and understanding through shared experiences. In today’s world, where division and isolation often dominate, our goal at PK Productions is to foster connection and community. We believe in the magic of live performance, where every show is a new opportunity to touch hearts, provoke thought, and inspire change.

Starting a theater company from the ground up is both daunting and exhilarating. The challenges are immense, but so are the rewards. Producing theater independently is an expensive endeavor, often reserved for those with significant financial backing. However, we are determined to break that barrier. We want to prove that passionate, dedicated artists can create high-quality theater without being part of the elite class.

The Play: Constellations

This September, we will debut our first play, “Constellations,” by Nick Payne, at the BCA Plaza Theater. “Constellations” is a beautiful exploration of love, fate, and the infinite possibilities of human relationships. It delves into the science of parallel universes and the complexity of human connection. It’s a story that resonates deeply with our mission at PK Productions. But to bring this story to life, we need your support.
