Help Launch The Bobo Fund for Pets with Chronic Illnesses

This fundraiser is to help "start-up" a new nonprofit organization called The Bobo Fund, in memory of Bobo, the best dachshund ever who had Cushing's and thyroid disease.

The Bobo Fund is committed to providing assistance to pet owners facing financial crises, ensuring that their beloved pets with chronic illnesses receive the essential medication they need.

It's our mission to make sure that when pet owners are faced with a financial crises, that their pets with chronic illnesses do not go without their required medication. Many times, abruptly stopping these medications can be very harmful to a pet's health and cause even more problems. Additionally, pets may have an ongoing medical problem that is diagnosed as a chronic illness, and symptoms can be alleviated once treatment begins, but pet owners may not be a financial place to afford the medication to see if it helps.

These are the types of situations that The Bobo Fund will assist with. We hope to be able to help alleviate the financial burden from pet owners in order to improve or maintain their pet's quality of life.

The Bobo Fund is a registered nonprofit with the Texas Secretary of State, a registered "business entity" with the IRS, and is applying for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, but this can take several months to be approved.

Helping to jump start our fundraising efforts will mean that once we receive our 501(c)(3) status, we can help pet owners more quickly!
