Help Launch the REACH Project for Refugee Youth in Utah
Donation protected
Hello! I’m Freddy Kayembe Nzamba, working with Health Rehabilitation and Human Promotion (HRHP), a refugee-led organization in Utah dedicated to empowering refugees, marginalized individuals, and those with disabilities to achieve self-reliance and holistic wellbeing.
HRHP was awarded a $25,000 grant by the Utah Board of Juvenile Justice to launch the Reintegration, Empowerment, and Community Harmony Project (REACH Project). This initiative will support 50 youth and 50 parents/guardians, fostering an equitable approach for their empowerment. However, the grant operates on a reimbursement basis, requiring us to cover initial costs before claiming funds. As a new organization, we’re financially constrained and urgently need $10,600 to get the project off the ground which is behind schedule since it was meant to start by 1st July 2024.
Your donation will fund essential equipment and supplies, limited quarterly personnel wages, and utilities. These funds will enable us to begin the project and qualify for reimbursement at the end of the first quarter.
We need your support to make the REACH Project a reality. Every contribution brings us closer to empowering these youth and their families. Please donate and share this campaign to help us build a brighter future.
Thank you for your generosity and belief in our mission!
