Help Launch The Tonopah Dental Center!

Join the Nevada Dental Foundation (NDF) in making a difference and help bring exceptional dentistry to Nevada's underserved!

Dental care in Nevada has affected the health of residents in rural townships. Tonopah, a centrally located rural town, has not had any dental providers in many years, forcing residents to travel 3-4 hours to Reno/Carson City or Las Vegas to receive routine dental care and emergency treatment.

Over the past year, the newly revamped NDF (previously the NDA Foundation for Oral Health) Board of dedicated volunteers decided that it was time for a change. The NDF worked to make great strides in procuring and building out a space in the Central Nevada Regional Care (CNRC) Facility and installing large dental equipment needed for a state-of-the-art fully functioning dental clinic. The TDC is still in need of equipment in order to be fully operational.

The goal is for the clinic is to be operational fall 2022. The Tonopah Dental Clinic (TDC) will be a brand new 3-chair dental clinic capable of providing comprehensive dental care to local residents and surrounding rural communities. The clinic will provide a range of dental services including exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions and specialty services as needed.

The NDF is fundraising to purchase the final instruments, small equipment, clinic materials and supplies to get this clinic off the ground and finally open our doors!

All contributions, whether monetary or volunteered professional services will be impactful and critical to our success, and will showcase organized dentistry’s role in solving access issues in Nevada; your support is appreciated.
