Help Laura attend the Janiec Opera Company

Hello everyone!
First, I want to express how grateful I am to those of you who have contributed previously towards helping me participate in past summer voice programs. Each of these programs has been an incredible opportunity and has been monumental in my growth as I pursue a career as a professional singer. I can truly say I would not be where I am today without your generous help. Thank you so much!
I am so honored to be accepted into the prestigious Brevard Music Center (BMC) Janiec Opera Company. This is a 9 week program during the summer where approximately 32 singers are invited to receive personal and intensive training with daily opera classes and coachings, and perform in both master classes and fully staged operas. If you’d like to learn more about the program, here is a link to their website: https://www.brevardmusic.org/institute/college/opera/
With my acceptance, I am humbled to have been offered:
•The role of Tina in the opera Flight by Jonathan Dove
•Cover of the role of the Controller (also in the opera Flight)
•Chorus in Puccini’s La Boheme
•Chorus in Brahms’ Schicksalsleid with the Brevard Music Center orchestra
•Soloist in the concert “An Evening of Jerome Kern and Friends”.
The BMC holds a special place in my heart. Back in 2019, I attended the BMC high school voice intensive. It was an incredible experience, and it truly shaped me as a young artist. I remember as a student there watching the “big kids” in the Janiec Opera Company sing in masterclasses and in the operas, and I was so inspired and blown away by them.
Now, 5 years later, I am so grateful to have been offered the opportunity to train at that very same program that I was inspired by all those years ago.
I have received a generous scholarship from the program, but there still remains $4,450 of tuition to pay, plus $500 for living expenses and food. As I am a full time student, with all of my earnings going towards my college tuition, I unfortunately I am still unable to cover all of the remaining funds. It would mean so much for any donation of any amount.
If you would like to hear me sing, here are some recent videos, including my graduate school prescreens, and most recently, my senior recital!
