Help Laura attend the Tel Aviv Summer Opera

Hello everyone!

I am so excited and honored to be accepted into the Tel Aviv Summer Opera program. This is an intense 3-week program for singers In Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, at the Tel Aviv Conservatory on the Mediterranean coast. The program puts on 4 fully-staged operas, the students are given daily music and language coachings and voice lessons, they perform in concerts and masterclasses, and to conclude the program there is a final outdoor gala concert performed with orchestra at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

This particular program is unique because the teachers, instructors, coaches, and conductors are world-renowned and will help me in my pursuit of furthering my career to professionalism. My current voice teacher from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music will also be at the program, and I will be able to continue my studies with her intensively as I prepare for graduate school auditions this fall. I am grateful to have this opportunity and eager to continue learning, singing, and performing every day, but with all of my summer earnings going toward tuition for my final year of undergraduate studies at IU, the total expenses for this program are beyond my reach. It would mean the world to have your help, in whatever amount you are comfortable giving. My total need is $4,500. The program tuition is $1,600, round-trip airfare is $1,500, and housing, living expenses, and food would be $1,400.

I want to continue to use the gift God has given me to the best of my ability. This means working every day to become the best singer, performer, and musician I can be. The Tel Aviv Summer Opera Institute will give me the tools and opportunities to be successful in this endeavor.
