Help Laura Conquer Mt Everest and Mt Vinson

Hi, I'm Laura Ellis, and have been climbing the 7 World Summits, for the last few years. The 7 World Summits are the tallest mountains on each continent. So, this Go Fund Me, is to help with half my costs for Mt Everest. I will be climbing Mt Everest in April/May of 2025.

I have been working to pay for this endeavour, and have paid for all my other summit climbs myself, up to this point. I will still be paying for half, but I need to come up with the rest. Now I have come to the last couple (very expensive) mountains. Mt Everest in Asia, and Mt Vinson in Antarctica.

I am in my late 50s and feel its very important to push yourself to succeed, to place yourself out of your comfort zone, and to find out what you are truly capable of. Therefor, I often think of persons, especially children, who were never afforded the opportunity in life to pursue something like this, due to disability or injury.

I hope I am able to inspire others to pursue their dreams, and challenge themselves to dig deep and find what inspires them, or what they truly are made of. Therefor, I will be giving some of the proceeds to charities, that fight and research childhood cancer and illness.

Thank you for reading this far, we all have quests and dreams in life, and this is mine. Yes, its to realize the summit success of Everest, but in doing this expedition, I will be helping children who have childhood disabilies and illness, I will be helpin the economy of Nepal that rely on climbers in this region. I will be helping the local economy of Porters, Sherpas, Guides, and all service staff and support personnel, for these types of expeditions. I will also give others the chance to experience this, through my YouTube channel.
