Why I'm fundraising

Laura Garcia is the matriarch of the Garcia family. She is a breast cancer survivor and has battled lymphoma for the past several years. Laura is a mother, a wife, a sister, a grandmother and a business owner. She means the world to her family and her husband Ricardo. Laura entered hospice care December 14th. Although she has insurance and a loving family, it simply isn’t enough to cover her expenses. As she journeys this road her only concern is not to leave her family in debt. She is a loving mom and even now she worries about the ones she’ll leave behind. We humbly ask for donations to pay for medical and hospice care and to cover living expenses for her and her husband Ricardo now that they have no income. Laura has spent her 65 years working hard to support those she loves and now we hope to return that love back to her and her family during this difficult time.
