Help Laura Sharp Beat Cancer with New Methods
Donation protected
My sister, Laura Sharp, was recently given the challenging news that her breast cancer has metastasized into three brain tumors just five months following her double mastectomy.
She has discovered some great alternative methods of treatment to explore that her medical insurance will not cover.
I, her brother Dann, along with her family and friends, am asking for your prayers and any donations you can give.
Thank you for coming alongside us during this challenging season. We are remaining hopeful.
Blessings,
Dann and family
Background and Message from Laura:
“Ending my twenty-year career at Warner Bros. with a layoff and loss of insurance coverage, my life became all about the caretaking of my parents, more specifically my mother through 8 years of Alzheimer’s.
My hopes of getting back to employment were short lived as I became caretaker to my 100% PTSD disabled Vietnam Combat Infantry Veteran husband. The V.A. missed his Agent Orange induced Stage 4 stomach and esophageal cancer thinking it was the flu.
Now three years out and he’s doing great, but I was diagnosed this summer with Stage III Negative BRAC 1 positive breast cancer.
Began fighting back immediately and had a Bi-lateral Mastectomy in June.
For stress relief after recovering from surgery, I drove my newly married daughter 3,000 miles to her new home in North Carolina.
When I returned in November, my left arm went mysteriously lame.
After much testing and a PET scan on Wednesday, I have been told that my cancer has metastasized into my brain where at least three (3) tumors are pushing on my motor chords. Steroids are currently helping sensation try to come back to my arm.
In order to have hope and explore the many new therapies, protocols and drug studies, I need to raise funding for important testing and diagnostics.
Hope comes in many forms.
If there are any of you who would come alongside me as Spirit Warriors as I battle this on all fronts, I and my family would be very appreciative.
Love & Light
Laura Sharp”
