Help Lauren get her new voice!

My name is Lauren Butcher. I am a transgender woman living in Perth, Western Australia. 

I have been out as a transgender woman for about 4 years now. I have met so many wonderful people on this short journey and gained so many new friendships and strengthened existing ones. 

I am the lead singer of Lauren and the Goodfights and a regular presenter on RTRFM's Burn the Airwaves and Drastic on Plastic. My voice is incredibly important to me. It has allowed me to make art, participate in the community and share music with others. Unfortunately, it also causes me terrible dysphoria.

I want to change my life for the better by getting vocal feminising surgery in 2020 at the Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre. 

With your incredible generosity, I will be able to cover the costs of my surgery and change my life. Funds generated will go directly to paying for my surgery and hospital stay.
