Help Lauren Pay Ava-AvalonBay Communities

On April 17, 2019, Pamela Robinson, an amazing woman and mother who positively affected everyone she met, passed on unexpectedly at just 62 . Her only child and best friend Lauren gave 30 days notice from the apartment they shared together just four days after her Mom passed, and immediately started looking for apartments. In the last two months Lauren has organized the services, packed up their apartment, closed her mom's accounts, moved into a studio apartment, held a garage sale, taken trips to Goodwill, and everything else that comes with something of this magnitude. All while having to continue going to work to pay the bills, and dealing with a car that has been continuously breaking down.
Although Lauren gave notice from their apartment as soon as she could, the final statement including the prorated amount from those final 30 days is more than Lauren can handle alone. Although she's tried to get the apartment complex to work with her, it seems she will be responsible for paying back most of $3,259.79 owed, since they both signed the lease. She cannot do this on her own.
As her close friend of 11 years, I want to help Lauren ease this burden, and I'm hoping you'll help. She has handled every step of this tragedy with strength and courage. Every dollar will help her pay AVA - AvalonBay Communities ASAP, so she can continue to move forward.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for anything you can offer.

Any extra money raised will help Lauren recover from expenses incurred since her Mom’s passing.
