Help Lauren Purchase New Equipment

On December 3rd, my husband, Derek and I had the night of our lives with our family and friends in Portland, ME. This night was one we will never, ever forget.. our wedding! One that could not be possible without our fantastic photographer, Lauren Sawyer, owner of Lauren Sawyer Photography.
Lauren and Lauren showed up at 3PM the day of our wedding while the girls were getting ready in one suite and the guys in another. They introduced themselves, were very friendly, open to ideas and immediately got to work! This was my first opportunity meeting Lauren in person, although in a way I felt like I knew her already given all of our mutual Facebook friends! It is evident now, why she has such a huge following- she is open, honest, friendly and fit in very well with our entire bridal party.
As the night went on, so did Lauren and Lauren- snapping picture after picture, capturing every moment and hour of our day. As the night wound down, so did Lauren's- they headed home for the evening. The next day, I received a text that made my heart sink.. Lauren lost one of her camera bags, with her camera and some other equipment in it that night.
Lauren has diligently over these last few weeks traced and retraced her tracks from that night. She has gone back to the venue several times to look over the parking lot, contacted all of our vendors, he has contacted the Portland Police Dept. to file a police report in which they also have notified the local pawn shops, searched Craigslist and online "yard sales." Between her, myself and everyone on Facebook we have spread the word near and far about her missing equipment. To date, unfortunately, nothing has turned up.
We would like to make it clear, neither Lauren nor my husband and I believe a guest took it, there is footage that she exited the building with it, however, wherever it went from there is anyones guess, unfortunately the venue is not in the most promising parts of Portland and anyone could have picked it up. (And yes, we do have our pictures as she backed them up all through out the night)
During a day of such love, unity, emotion and tons of fun, it's unfortunate that something as tragic as this had to happen. Photography is Lauren's well being, her love and clearly her passion. While we are still in the "season of giving" we thought it was only appropriate to set this page up for her to try and recover some of the funds to replace her equipment.
These are the items that were in her bag that went missing and we'd like to try and recover the funds to replace and as we all know, professional equipment is expensive and takes years to collect:
Canon 6D
Canon 60D
Canon 24-105mm l-Series Lens
Canon 10-22mm Wide Lens
Canon Speedlite 430EX III-RT
Canon 80-250mm Lens
Canon 50mm Lens
Nissin i40 Flash
Instax Mini 90
As a community, please- any dontation, big or small will help recover some of her gear. Lauren is such a hardworker with a big heart and I know would be so grateful for any assistance.
In the event, that if ever her items are recovered, all money donated for new equipment will be returned to the "donate-ee."
Thank you all so much for reading, sharing and donating!
