Help Lauren Pay for her Hearing Aid

Hi! My name is Lauren. I'm a chronically ill, neurodivergent, and queer writer and artist. I live with multiple chronic illnesses and auto-immune diseases. The costs of medical care for my conditions are overwhelming and in addition to recurring appointments, medications and supplements, I also just had to get a hearing aid, which is not covered by insurance and costs $3,000.

I've been struggling for two years now to keep my head above water financially. Last year, many folks donated to help me but I'm still struggling and the majority of the funds you see here were raised last year and have already been spent on medical expenses. I'm seeking more support to help me at least pay for my hearing aid, but hopefully to help cover some of my other medical expenses too.

It feels very vulnerable and scary to ask for help, but I feel I've run out of options, especially given the limited amount of energy and symptom-free time that I currently have. If you can donate, any amount offered will be a huge help! Please share with others who may want to help as well.
