Help Laurie Gaudette

Hello Facebook Family and Friends,

As many of you may know, my incredible friend Laurie has dealt with a sporadic form of cancer for 22 years; her constant fight against it has been a miracle in itself! Through the years of this battle, she has continued to live life, foster (and adopt) her children, works as a nurse, raise her children all on her own and, more recently, foster/rescue cats & kittens! Laurie will have to undergo yet another surgery to help combat her cancer diagnosis. On February 2/15/2022, she will undergo surgery to remove some tumors that have formed on her liver and pelvic area.

As you can imagine, this will put her out of work for several months as she recovers. She is not financially prepared for this time off. She is not in the habit of asking for help or admitting she needs it. All the more reason, I decided to create a page for her and the kids. She has some support from her church (food delivery) and her mom & sister (to help babysit and get her to the dr). But I am not sure that will be enough to keep her bills on track. I hope I am conveying my heartfelt request respectfully. Give what you can if you feel moved to do so. I know some folks do not like to give via these pages, so if you would like to donate directly, private message me, and I can give you options. Laurie has been my best friend for 23 years. I love this woman. She has done some great things in this life; it would be great if we could help her while she heals and gets back to it! Respectfully and with love.
