HELP LAURIE TOLEN FIGHT BREAST CANCER

Hello, my name is Annette. I started this fundraiser for my friend Laurie Tolen. Laurie was diagnosed with Stage III Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (Breast Cancer) in early June 2022. Those who know Laurie, know that when Covid hit, she lost everything. Once a housing specialist at the Concord Shelter, compassionately aiding those in need of a house, Laurie now finds herself homeless.

Laurie is a private individual and seldom shares her innermost concerns with anyone outside her loving partner, Jason. It is with Jason that we ask family, friends and others to please donate whatever you find in your heart to give and assist us in raising money to help Laurie with her medical expenses and many unexpected costs associated with cancer treatment. Within weeks she will undergo surgery followed by months of chemotherapy without a clean, comfortable and stable place to retreat to. A sad and hopeless state of being for someone trying to place all her energy into staying alive. Most of us will agree however, if anyone, Laurie is the best suited to come away victorious. Funds will also go toward finding Laurie a proper place to live.
