Help give Lavonne Roach a good start and a second chance at life!!

Hi friends or family,

I first want to say THANK YOU JESUS SHE IS FINALLY FREE!!! She was granted compassionate release  on 1/14/2021 from prison due to her many life threatening health issues, she was also granted a Pardon by President Trump on 1/19/2021!!!

Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts for all of your prayers and support!! Even through the ups and downs during her journey toward freedom you all never gave up on her.  Lavonne has waited for this day for 23 years and is eager to get out and finally be able to hug her family,  many of which she never met. She also wants to use this opportunity to dedicate herself to helping her family heal, as well as help other's in prison and in the community so this fate does not fall upon another's path.

She will be leaving prison with just the clothes on her back.  She has many health issues and will need help with medical as well as neccesities in life. We know times are hard right now and anything will help even if it is $1 or a toothbrush. She will use the funds to help her get back on her feet, for any medications and medical support she may need. She has been praying and awaiting this day for 23 years and never gave up hope she would someday be a free woman.

My mom went to prison 23 years ago with a broken spirit coming from poverty, drugs,  and abuse.  My mom has worked hard to rebuild herself and for most that is no easy task. She started her sentence at age thirty-two under the weight of serving 30 years. This would have crushed most individuals, but not my mom.  She set out to make the most of every opportunity offered within the prison system to heal, grow and educate herself in order to help her children, family and the community. She has 2 daughters, 1 son, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandbaby anxiously awaiting her release, as well as many other family and friends.

My grandma and grandpa fought for her freedom since the day they took her away. They never gave up hope and both passed away while she was in prison. The most difficult time she ever faced but I know they are dancing in the sky right now!

Lastly, Thank you all again for all the prayers and support!! My heart is full of joy and I know my mom's is also!
