Help Lavrich Family Rebuild After Flood
Donation protected
Hello! On June 5, 2024, a terrible storm swept through Harford County causing major destruction and flooding in Abingon, Maryland. Meredith Garback Lavrich is a long-time resident of Harford County, and a 1998 graduate of Bel Air High School (Go Bobcats!). She now lives with her husband Mike and their two boys, Mason and Miles, in the neighborhood that she grew up in as a child.
The Lavrich Family home was flooded, affecting their entire basement and was so severe it almost pushed through their basement door and onto the first level of their house. Mike's car was submerged and totaled. Police had to break windows to get into people's homes so that they could escape, and first responders were floating in front of their driveway in big yellow rafts.
While they are thankful that they are all safe physically, this undoubtedly has caused major frustration, sadness, and trauma for their entire family. Let's show the Lavrich Family what the Harford County community can do when we come together to help, even in a small way! Please donate if you are able, and please share.
