Help Lay Allan "Hoop" Hooper to Rest

Our Dad, Allan “Hoop” Hooper passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 20th, 2022. Although we are unsure of the cause, I promise you he looked peaceful, and that’s all we could ask for.

Our father's passing was unexpected and impacted the lives of so many who came to know how incredible, loving, giving, and beautiful he made this world. Our dearest wish is to honor his wants and desires for his passing. As a family, we have decided to start a fundraiser to cover expenses, bills, and other costs that have arisen from his passing. There will be a celebration of life (TBA) in Florida, most likely in April, for everyone to come and celebrate the extraordinary life of an unforgettable man.

As the family finds out more and makes arrangements, we’ll share and keep everyone posted through this fundraiser and his Facebook. But for now, I want everyone that got the opportunity to know him to take a minute and remember that amazing man. There’s so much to be said about him. His smile could light up a room; his laughter was infectious; he was the life of the party that just wanted to see everyone have a good time. He was truly a great father, son, brother, friend, partner, and so much more to so many people. I know he will be deeply missed by everyone that got the chance to cross paths with him. We are so grateful for the kind words we’ve received already. As we go through this challenging time, all I can think of is him saying, “Life is good.” We’ll miss you Dad, and we all love you so so much. Say Hi to Grandpa and Dustin for us.
