Help Lay Brenda Brockenberry to Rest

My name is Alicia and I am the youngest of three children born to Brenda Brockenberry. My mother unexpectedly entered into her eternal rest on July 4, 2024. Starting May 17, 2024, until June 13, she suffered multiple strokes and ultimately a heart attack which occluded the blood flow to the brain and recovery was not an option. She was intubated to maintain her airway.

She suffered from kidney disease, underwent dialysis for 2 years, and finally received a new kidney in 2022. The road to recovery was looking better, but then she was diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart which ultimately led to a stroke in 2018. My mother has been through so much including, but not limited to, a double knee replacement, torn rotator cuff, glaucoma, cataracts, sleep apnea, and others. Through it all, she maintained her independence. In spite of best efforts she was not able to obtain a life insurance policy due to these co morbidities .

This loss was unexpected and our family is in need of help to put her to rest. No donation is too small, we appreciate all the calls and prayers! Thank you in advance for your act of kindness.
