Help Lay Esther Louise Guy the victim of a careless drunk driver to rest

Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and Matriarch Esther L. Guy, was tragically and abrupty killed on November 22, 2024, in a senseless and devastating vehicular manslaughter caused by a drunk driver in Middle Island, New York. At 75 years old, Esther was a kind, loving, and selfless woman who cherished her family above all else.

Esther had spent the day with her daughters and grandchildren preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas in Riverhead. As always, they chose to take “the safe route home” by avoiding the highway and driving down Middle Country Road. Esther was in the car with her daughter, Crystal Marks, and her 22-month-old granddaughter. They had traveled down Middle Country Road and were a mile from home when the crash occurred. While Crystal sustained injuries, and her granddaughter was miraculously unharmed, Esther’s life was tragically cut short.

This avoidable tragedy has left the family reeling with grief, help honor Esther’s memory and give her the farewell she deserves.

Esther was a pillar of strength and love for her family, and her absence leaves an unimaginable void. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward funeral expenses and supporting this family during this difficult time.
