Help Lay Halie Murphy to Rest
Donation protected
This fundraiser is on behalf of Halie Murphy's family, to help support them with her final expenses as they lay their sweet girl to rest. All proceeds will go directly to Halie's stepmom, Tonya Murphy, to cover Halie's funeral and burial expenses, and any additional funds received will go to an account set up for Ava, Halie's 4-year-old daughter.
For those that feel more comfortable doing so, you can also send donations to Sosebee's Funeral Home in Canton, who is handling Halie's arrangements.
Halie's family appreciates the support, love and prayers of their friends and family during this difficult time, as they struggle to process this devastating loss. Please keep them and Ava in your prayers in the coming weeks.
Halie Grey Murphy, a beacon of warmth and friendliness, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Canton, GA. She was born on September 8, 1997, in Charleston, SC.
Halie found joy and purpose working at the Green Trade of Georgia Nursery, where her passion for nature flourished alongside the plants she tended with care. Above all, Halie will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend—a woman whose heart was open and embracing. Her legacy of love and friendship will continue to blossom in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Roy Murphy; grandmothers, Renea Chesser and Lee Ann Murphy; great-grandmother, Jeanette Garn; and Mr. C.W.
