Mark Renold Watson

One cigarette too many. Smoking is known to cause death by cancer and heart related illnesses, but there's another danger that is fatal. Falling asleep with a lit cigarette in your hand. My brother, Mark Renold watson, age 68, died last Sunday night, October 6th, just that way. He had given up cigarettes which was an addiction since age 16, and was down to four a day. After a late few drinks he relaxed with a cigarette and fell asleep. The cigarette caught the couch on fire and he supposedly died from smoke inhalation before the fire engulfed him and the apartment. Mark was a quiet, modest, humble man that was kind to everyone. He was honest to a fault and truthful. Right was right. He was my support and all things and delighted and cooking for me. And he was very good. He loved God and walked in his path, though didn't attend church. Unfortunately, he didn't have insurance, that we talked about it - too late. I'm humbly asking for contributions, so I can bury him at Glendale cemetery in Des Moines where are mother and brother are. He has to be cremated and I want him given a decent resting place. Five to $6,000 will buy a plot and burial and perhaps a gravestone. My broken heart thanks you very much
