Help Lay Natalie Daggett to Rest with Her Husband

Hello, my name is Pattie Daggett, and the daughter of Natalie Daggett. I’ve been my mom’s caregiver for the past 3yrs. On Saturday, August 10th, my mom took her last breath with me by her side and in my home after a several weeks battle trying to fight a really bad sepsis infection. Over the past few months, my mom developed a urinary tract infection, which worsened and became a severe E.Coli infection of her kidneys. The doctors called it a superbug and it was extremely resistant to antibiotics. Since then, my mom had been in and out of the hospital several times. During my mom's decline in health, I’ve also been enduring my own health issue of multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer. I recently had surgery to have a tumor removed from my C6 vertebrae (end of March) and endured a stem cell transplant in Aug 2017. As you can imagine, this has been an extremely trying time. I was her full-time caregiver and strived to provide the best quality of life possible for my mom and I was right by her side fighting with her the entire time.

Back in 2019, my dad was assaulted and he and my mom had been married for 62 years. It has been a very rough few years for our family with lots of moving expenses, storage of my mom's stuff, medical bills, copays and now the 2nd funeral our family has had to face in 4yrs. My dad has a double depth cemetary lot where he lies to rest, and it was his and my mom's wishes to be buried together and in the same grave.

With the large increase in cemetery and funeral costs, this has become a huge expense for myself and family. I am not the one to ever ask for help from anyone, but because of me contributing to my mom's monthly expenses to help her, along with my own medical expenses from my surgery and my disability, I am in a position now that I need to ask for help to lay my mom to rest with my dad, so they can fulfill the second part of my mom and dad's wishes, to be finally laid to rest together.
