Help lay our father Wesley Milam to rest.

As most of you know on Friday, January 13th our father passed away unexpectedly at CAMC leaving behind a daughter, son, four grandkids and many family and friends who loved him dearly.

Everyone knew our dad every where he went. He was a mechanic, handyman, and even enjoyed painting vehicles. He loved to hunt, ride his 4-wheeler, and was a tractor enthusiast. This past fall he was given the opportunity to do kart racing, and he fell in love. He was so excited for the spring so he could race a kart again.

Dad had colon cancer 7 years ago and beat it. Last year he found out he had cancer in his liver and lung which had spread from his previous colon cancer. He had a great Oncology team this time and was on a stronger chemo which made his tumors shrink. He was a fighter. Even though he had cancer it didn’t stop him. He recently opened his heart to the lord to continue his life as a Christian.

Our dad didn’t have life insurance or any money for his funeral. If anyone would like to donate to help cover funeral cost it would be more than appreciated, and if you can’t donate, it’s ok-please keep our family in your daily thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
