Help lay Samantha Balandra to rest

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Samantha Rose Balandra, at the age of 24. She would have celebrated her 25th birthday with her family today, May 7th.

Those of us who knew Sam, knew her for her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, and her extraordinary kindness. She loved putting a smile on everyone’s face with her playful personality and was always ready with open arms for those in need. Sam’s depth and empathy made her the one person you relied on and turned to for insight, understanding, or a shoulder to cry on. She was a hardworking young woman with dreams of raising a family of her own.

On May 4th, we lost Samantha in a tragic accident, leaving behind her mother, her brother, family, friends, and the love of her life. She was taken from us too early and we will miss her gentle softness and loving innocence. No one can plan for the sudden loss of a child and loved one, so we have set up this GoFundMe to help lay our beautiful Samantha Rose to rest.
