Help Lay Veteran Michael to Rest
Donation protected
On May 30, 2024, the Lord decided to call my father, “Michael Ray Taylor,” home. You can never truly plan for this. I thought I had all his affairs in order, just to find out I don’t. Not truly understanding how the insurance companies work, I didn’t know that you had to have a life insurance policy open for 2 years to receive the full benefit. My father is also a veteran. The VA only refunds Veteran's burials.
I don’t have $10,000 laying around to cover his expenses. I’m 36 years old, taking care of both my parents. It hasn’t been easy, but I have been doing the best I can without asking for help. Right now, I need help. This is so hard for me, but I don’t know what else to do. My father had been dealing with heart issues and over a year ago, the doctor gave my mother a 5% chance to live. By the grace of God, she’s still here. I’m the youngest of my parents' 7 children and I took on the responsibility to take care of them, while working full time.
I’m asking if anyone can open their hearts to help my family and I lay our father to rest. Everything counts, even if you can donate $1. I will gladly appreciate it. My goal is $10,000, but if I can come up with at least $6,000, I can cremate him. I would like to thank everyone for their support and even if you can’t, God bless you.
