Help Layla with her covid

Hi, I'm Layla, that chronically broke trans girl you may have heard of (probably not).

 

Well I have found a waitressing job!! I'm renting an actual room!! Things are looking up, except umm oops

 

I got covid

 

So I'll basically miss about a week's paycheck, plus a bit more. I'm not eligible for this government's covid disaster payment, mostly because I'm a foreigner.

 

If you could pitch in to help me a bit, that'd be great. My rent is about $200 a week, plus I have been trying to pay a friend of mine back about another $200 a week for helping me get back up on my feet and find work. I also need to eat food so that's a thing too. And my weird transgender medication,, it actually costs a bit more for me because I'm not a citizen so I'm not eligible for all those Australian subsidies and what have you.

 

I should be back at work after a week once my covid is done, but until then I could really use some help. Living paycheck to paycheck makes us vulnerable as shit, it's damn annoying, especially if you don't have a welfare state backing you up
