Help Lea recover from her cerebral hemorrhage

As most of you know, Lea suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on October 15th 2024.

Lea is recovering well, and as of today (October 30th) she is out of 2 weeks of intensive care and into a "normal" hospital station. This is great news, but staying stress free and focusing on recovering, is very important to minimize the risks of temporary or permanent disablements. At the moment we do not know how long this recovery will take.

As a freelance costume designer, mainly working in the independent scene of stage arts, Leas economy is fragile, and hardly allow her to take out the time she needs to recover fully. Most of you know in what precarious living situations freelance artists find themselves and now one of us needs our help.

We, her closest friends and family, have already taken care of Leas fixed expenses for the coming months, but as we do not know how long her recovery will take, and also because she has a couple of long term projects that she might need to push or even cancel – we are starting this crowdfunding to help Lea relax and be able to fully focus on her physical and cognitive recovery without worrying about the potential economic consequences.

Every amount is helpful and we will be very grateful for your help. Also it would be a great help if you would share this crowdfunding with people who know Lea or her work.

Leas is not yet aware of this crowdfunding, and we would like to keep it that way, to avoid the stress of remembering to thank everyone personally.

Lea is always there for her extended family, giving herself fully in her work relations and friendships – now we think it is time to give a little love and care back to Lea.

The funds will be payed into Lea's brother Tue's account to secure a good interest. The funds will be payed out to Lea when they are needed.
