Help Leah and Tara get to Hawaii in 2025

If you know these two, you know that they have spent the last 10 years dedicating their free time to competitive gymnastics and then to cheerleading. They are beautiful, bubbly, sporty and talented little ladies, so when their cheer gym had try outs for a team they wanted to take to an international competition in Hawaii in 2025, of course they got in.

If you need a sob story to help convince you that this is a worthy cause, you may be aware that these two had a rough start to life and since then have overcome every obstacle that comes their way! Their story is of courage, resilience, tears, fear, changes, growth and they continue to amaze me (and anyone else who knows them). At home, our family is always being hit with new challenges from Adelaide's accident, to Kingsley's severe learning disorder (and with 7 people in the family someone always seems to be sick!). Chris works super duper hard while Big Tara manages the needs of the family and keeps the wheels spinning - which is usually the wheels of the car getting to and from appointments, therapies and school. We are a mighty force together.

But at the end of the day, we want to get these two girls to Hawaii without applying for a loan! Here are the estimated expenses:

$2500 x2 is their training and comp fees up until May 2025

$250 is Tara's uniform fee (Leah already has one)

$1000 x3 is flights (mum Tara has to go with them)

$600 (ish) for accommodation (USD)

$150 for mum to get a ticket to the competition (what the fudge!)

and whatever other expenses we accrue!
