Help Leanna and Jake Recover from Flood Damage
Donation protected
On Sunday July 14th strong thunderstorms, including large hail, hit Twentynine Palms, Ca causing areas of fairly severe flash flooding which affected my daughter and son in laws neighborhood. Their neighborhood was under 2-3 feet of water with the interior of their home had at least 6-8 in of water and mud throughout, resulting in the loss of a large portion of their belongings(clothing and furniture). Including severe damage to the engine of Leanna’s vehicle and damage and loss of a good portion of Jake’s work tools and clothes. At the moment they are a single income household. Jake recently got out of the Marine Corps and not yet had his veteran benefits approved leading them to not having extra money in the bank to help them manage thru this.
Any help we can give them to help get them back on their feet would be truly appreciated.
**Leanna and Jake have been able to spend some time trying to salvage what they can. Most of their clothing has been throughly soaking and encrusted with clay/mud. The majority of Jake’s power tools are a total loss. Leanna’s jeep also has severe damage. As a result she will not be able to drive to photo shoots. The income from those helps to supplement their household finances as well as giving her an outlet.
