Help Lee and Joanna Horton buy their first home

Hi, our names are Lee and Joanna. We are childhood sweethearts, married for 30 years. In 1993, Lee was sent to prison for life without parole for a crime he did not commit. At that time we had four children, one only two weeks old and we’re in the process of buying our first home.  Over the years our love was tested but it persevered. We fought for 28 years to prove his innocence and on February 12, 2021 Lee was released by the Governor of PA.  After all those years we were reunited but had no home. The money we had to buy a house all those years ago is long gone. Today we live with family who have taken us in. Our dream is to buy a home where our children can come visit with our grandchildren. At 55 and 56 without help buying a house may be out of reach for us. We were not compensated for all the decades that were stolen from us.  So we pray that you will help us make our dream a reality.
