Leif Needs Your Help Now: Raising Funds for Essential Tests

Hi, my name is Marianne, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart for the help of my dear friend, my lifeline, Leif. Leif is my service dog, and he has been by my side through thick and thin. He’s not just a dog; he is the one who helps me navigate each day, the one who gives me strength when I feel lost, and the one whose unconditional love has helped me overcome so many obstacles.

For the past few years, Leif has been battling a mysterious illness that no one can seem to explain. We have been to numerous veterinarians, specialists, and even holistic practitioners, desperately searching for answers, but no one can pinpoint exactly what is wrong. Leif is in constant distress, and his condition has left him unable to leave the house. He’s only 6 years old, with so much life ahead of him, but right now, he’s suffering.

I’ve poured every bit of savings I have into his care—sacrificing my own needs just to ensure he gets the best treatment possible. But the road to answers has been long, and the testing required to determine what’s going on with him is expensive. I’ve hit a wall, and I can no longer afford the tests and treatments necessary to get Leif the care he desperately needs.

Leif is more than just a companion. Without him, I would not be here today. He is my emotional support, my guide, and my constant source of comfort. I cannot imagine a life without him, and I will do whatever it takes to give him the chance to recover and live a full, healthy life.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. I need to raise $6,000 to cover the costs of additional tests, specialists, and treatments that will hopefully provide us with the answers we need. Every penny will go directly toward giving Leif the chance to heal and continue being the incredible service dog he has been for me.
