Help Aid Leigh-Anne's path to recovery

My name is Leigh-Anne, I'm 26 years old, currently living in Houston. My story goes like this... On the 31st of October, I was assaulted, held captive, and threatened with death. This was done by the guy I was temporarily living with. He had told me numerous times that he was going to kill me. As I feared for my safety, I tried to escape the apartment. I ran to the door; mind you, there were 3 locks, so it was a rush against time. Just as the 3rd lock was unlocked, he grabbed me from the back and pulled me. I was pulled with such great force that I fell and hit my head, shoulder, and back against the floor. I suffered 3 spinal fractures as well as a laceration to my right temple. It did not end here. He continued to torture me for a few more hours. I thought that I was not going to get out alive. He told me numerous times that he had no choice but to end my life as he knew that he would go to jail if I was able to leave and call the police. Yes, you're wondering why I didn't call for help? Well, as it turns out, he had broken my phone and the laptop to ensure that I couldn't call for help. He admitted this too.
So now I am in recovery for 3 months. After which, I will need physical therapy too. This hasn't been an easy journey. I lost most of my clothes too, as his sister had gained access to the apartment and stolen my clothing. I cannot work either due to my work visa being expired. So I'm stuck in a foreign country without work, a serious injury that limits my movements, and a lot of mental distress. I really would appreciate any help I can get. Anything that could help me with monthly bills and hopefully I can purchase some clothing. If anyone would like to donate to my cause, I would be very grateful.
I wouldn't have been here if God didn't save me. The only thing that gave me strength to get out of the bathtub, where I was essentially dying, was praying. The Holy Spirit had come alive in me, and I knew what I needed to do. As I kept reading the Bible, praying that he would pass out so that I could escape and call for help, I noticed that I couldn't breathe and that I had trouble walking. I was very confused and couldn't think clearly due to being hit in the face and head multiple times. Not long after, he passed out on the floor with a rifle in his arms. I put on clothes, didn't even put on shoes as I was scared it would make too much noise. I arrived at the hospital on the 2nd of November around 11 am. Here I was informed of my injuries. I was discharged on the 3rd of November.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. If you donate to my cause, I thank you and God bless.
