Help Leo Fight Against Cancer!

Dear Friends and Family,

We're reaching out to you with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits as we share Leo's journey with you. Recently, our friends son Leo underwent brain surgery to remove a tumour, and the results were not what we hoped for: the tumour was cancerous. As Leo bravely faces this new challenge, their whole family is gearing up for the next steps in his treatment: Radiation and Chemotherapy.

Leo's treatment plan requires them to travel to Seattle, where he will receive specialized care and support for the next 6-7 weeks. After a 4-6 week break they will come home to begin Chemotherapy which will last 6-8 months.

During this time there will be many extra and unforeseen expenses, Danny is self-employed and has been focusing his time and energy on being with Leo, As a result he has not been able to keep up with regular work hours. Julie has also been off work and will be on leave for an extended time to care for Leo as well. We want to minimize the stress on them as a family by offering to support them with financial donations to help cover these extra costs, and allow Danny & Julie to keep their focus on Leo.

That's why we're turning to our community for support. Your donations will make an incredible difference in Leo's fight against cancer. They will help cover the costs of treatments, alleviate the financial strain of missed work, and ease the burden of essential expenses, covering meals and other costs incurred while in the hospital, the bills at home and other costs that come with this journey.
