Help Leo Joost Continue Steve's Legacy with Animals

I am leonarda(Leo) Joost and have just recently lost my very best friend, husband and soulmate to cancer. For 30 years, Steve(Crone) and I raised animals together, trained them, lead world class dog sledding trips, took on countless rescued horses, llamas, dogs, and cats. Our animals’ well-being and happiness have always been, and continues to be, top priority. Our lives will not be the same without Steve. But my intention is to do my very best to keep all of the animals together as a family because this is what they know and understand; and to continue caring for them and working with them as we always have. The upcoming year will be challenging for me as I regroup and grieve and move forward. I would like to pick up where we left off years ago before Steve got sick, and continue offering meaningful programs with our animals for people who will benefit from the interaction. I am asking for donations to cover food costs for the animals and vet bills. Our typical yearly dog food bill is approximately $12,000, vet bills and other expenses that are animal related are approximately $8000 per year. I am looking to raise $20,000 if possible to help during this year of transition.
