Help Leo Kosmo's Recovery From Hodgkin's Lymphoma

My name is LeighAnn Kosmo, and my dad, Leo Kosmo, is currently hospitalized at UPMC in Pittsburgh. While awaiting a future appointment to begin this journey—and with previous visits showing no critical concerns—he experienced an emergency that required immediate and unexpected medical care.

Initially, he was admitted for complications caused by an excessive amount of fluid in his lungs and a mass in his chest. During his stay, his condition has now led to an official diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Due to unforeseen complications, he required urgent chemotherapy treatment. Thankfully, he is responding well. Although his prognosis is very favorable, this will be an extremely long and difficult road for him.

Many people have kindly asked if there’s anything they can do to help—such as creating bracelets or shirts in support of my dad. Given the current circumstances, I believe that, in addition to your well-wishes and prayers, a fund would be the best way to support him. This journey will not only be physically challenging for him but also potentially expensive. All proceeds from this fund will go toward any out-of-pocket medical expenses, bills, and the numerous trips that will need to be made to and from the hospital.
