I'm fundraising for Leonard Onyango who needs help to purchase devices for children code in the slums of Kibera, Kenya.
Leonard Graduated in Information Technology and has used his free time to teach interactive theater and coding to kids all over Kibera and Nairobi.
Kibera is located in Nairobi but lacks access to government schools, addresses, and reliable water, and electricity.
Drug addiction, abuse, and lack of opportunity run rampant, and Leonard seeks to change that for as many children as he can!
We completed our first round of funding thanks to your generosity and were able to send them 11 fire tablets, pay for remodeling, rent & electricity for 3 months!
This absolutely means the world to Leonard, the students, and myself.
Our next goal is to give Leonard everything that he needs to turn Kibera Coding into a true non-profit organization so that he can continue his mission with secure, ongoing funding. As you might imagine, there are quite a few government forms to fill out as well as application fees. Here are is the breakdown of costs.

$50 Bank Account Opening
$120 Tax Exemption application
$540 Rent for 9 months
