Help Leslie Crush Breast Cancer

Hello Everyone! My name is Kim Shepard and I am fund raising to help Leslie Dietz, my very beloved Friend who was recently diagnosed with HER2 Negative Breast Cancer.

For those who know Leslie, she is a very private person so sharing her story is very humbling to her for me to share and ask for help.

Leslie has been through some difficult times with her health as resent as a few years ago with a mystery illness that almost took her life by causing her vital organs being attacked and starting to shut down. With Prayer and medicine she came through it, but not without first losing her job and insurance coverage due to that illness during that time.

Leslie has recovered and has been working where she has insurance, but has a $5k deductible and an 80/20 benefits coverage. Unfortunately, Leslie has no other outside support to help her other than her Mother and Friends such as myself. She will need to take off 2 weeks after her surgery on the 24th of August which she has no paid vacation, plus she will need to begin Radiation shortly after her surgery which will take her away from work.

Susan Komen as well as other Cancer Assistance and Non-Profits who could help are limited or have ran out of funds, much due to COVID because fund raisers cant be held as in the past. So $300.00 from Susan Komen if she qualifies is all that is in the horizon.

Right now her $5000 is needed to satisfy the hospital, diagnostics & doctors. Payment arrangements are trying to be made but with a low salary its very difficult to make those agreements to each.

I know she will be so appreciative and grateful for any help at all that can be given, and most of all your prayers for a full recovery and healing are most welcome.
