Help Leticia & Javier Secure a Safe Home

Blessings to all!

I am raising funds for my husband and I to have a place to live as soon as possible. Our names are Leticia & Javier Rivera. We moved to from Rochester, NY to Puerto Rico when we learned that my husband's cancer started to come back and spreading. He said he wanted to fulfill his dream of working as a DJ & MC in Puerto Rico while he still could. I agreed and here we are. However, his cancer has been on the way as it started advancing and also other health issues presented in his body as a consequence of second effects and other reasons. When we arrived we were on the good track as we bought a piece of land with the money we received from selling our house in Rochester, NY. Javier was starting great on booking events. But all of a sudden he had to completely stop due to health reasons and also we had to wait 6 months for him to start getting a SS check which is also a small amount.

We need to move out from the house his family let us stay all this time and we have started to save little by little for an Expandable House to put it in our land. However, we need to move there ASAP!

My husband does not have a lot of time to fulfill this dream. We need your help so I can have my husband in a safe place that will not add additional stress and will assist to extend his life as much as possible.

We are asking for this amount of $24,000 so we can put $12,000 as a down payment and the other part is to add a cement base to put the house at and a cement little storage so we do not lose all of our items that came from Rochester with us. Javier has sold already some of his DJ gear but we still need help on top of this.

My business is just giving us a small amount for food and gas whenever I can and I have to stay with him so going to work regularly is not an option right now as he has days during the week with appointments and I am the one driving now.

We will appreciate your help so we do not have to live in a bad place or be in a bad situation as Javier needs and deserves a good place to live whatever time he has left in this World.

In the past we have volunteered to serve our communities a lot, I still do that. Please we need your support now.
