Help Leticia Serafin After Eaton Fire

Hello, my name is Tommy Dougherty, I am initiating this fundraiser for my best friend and chosen family, Leticia Serafin—known to most as Letty. Early Wednesday morning 1/8/25 at 6 AM, I received a text from Letty informing me that she and her family were being evacuated from their home in Altadena, CA, due to the Eaton fire. By 4 PM, the heartbreaking news came that her home had been completely destroyed. Letty and her family have lost everything. 

Letty is more than a friend to me; she is family. For the past 15 years, she has been a steadfast source of love, inspiration, and encouragement in my life. Her unwavering support has carried me through some of my toughest moments, and her generosity has always been a beacon of light for those around her. Whether she’s offering advice, extending a helping hand, or simply being present, Letty’s kindness knows no limits. Now, it is my turn to support her. This GoFundMe campaign is dedicated to helping Letty and her beautiful family recover from this unimaginable loss.

Letty has dedicated her life to uplifting others, and her impact extends beyond her professional accomplishments. She is a devoted mother, a loving friend, and an incredible role model. My Journey with Letty

I first met Letty in 2010 during my first Xena: Warrior Princess Convention in Los Angeles. At just 18 years old, I had traveled alone from New York—nervous, excited, and overwhelmed by the unknown. Letty was stationed at registration, and she was the first face I encountered. Her warm smile and willingness to assist immediately put me at ease. She not only guided me through the registration process but also ensured I felt welcomed and prepared for the experience ahead.

That first encounter set the tone for my introduction to Creation Entertainment. Inspired by Letty’s kindness, I returned in 2011, eager to relive the experience. By 2012, I had joined Creation Entertainment as a volunteer staff member, working registration at conventions nationwide. Letty became more than just a mentor—she became a trusted friend.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Letty at conventions for a variety of fandoms, including Star Trek, Stargate, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, and of course, Xena: Warrior Princess. Time and again, I witnessed her unparalleled dedication. Whether it was resolving last-minute issues, answering endless questions with grace, or simply offering a heartfelt smile to attendees, Letty consistently exemplified excellence.

Her work ethic and professionalism are unmatched. I say this with pride: Leticia Serafin is one of the hardest-working individuals at Creation Entertainment. She consistently exceeds expectations, ensuring that every attendee leaves with positive memories. She is, without a doubt, the face of Creation Entertainment—the welcoming presence at registration and the heart of customer service.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Letty is an irreplaceable part of my life. Her three wonderful children even call me “Uncle Tommy.” Her warmth, generosity, and compassion have deeply impacted everyone lucky enough to know her. Now, during this incredibly difficult time, it is our turn to rally around her and provide the support she deserves.
