A Life-Saving Bone Marrow Transplant for Levi
Donation protected
Meet my nephew Levi Mohammed, a brave 12-year-old boy from Trinidad who has been fighting leukemia since his diagnosis in 2021. Despite enduring chemotherapy and radiation therapy, Levi has relapsed twice, making a bone marrow transplant his best hope for survival. This gofundme is being run by Levi’s family to help with the cost of the procedure and his pre- and post-transplant care.
Throughout this journey, Levi has spent most of his time in the Just Because Foundation (JBF) ward at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, receiving care from dedicated staff. The treatments have taken a toll on his body, leading to additional health complications, including hypopituitarism and intracranial hypertension. He has also had to miss significant portions of school and the everyday life of a young boy.
Standing by Levi’s side through it all are his big brother Aiden, and his devoted parents Reyard and Marissa. Marissa has been battling Multiple Sclerosis while caring for her son, and the family’s journey has been one of immense strength and resilience. Now they face their biggest challenge yet.
A bone marrow transplant represents Levi’s best chance to reclaim the childhood he has missed over the last four years. However, the financial burden of this procedure is overwhelming. We are reaching out to you—our family, friends, and compassionate supporters—to help give Levi the fighting chance he deserves.
Please donate and share Levi’s story. Together, we can help him win this battle and give him the future he deserves. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to ensuring Levi gets the treatment he needs. Your generosity can make a life-saving difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our smart, funny, quirky, and sassy boy.
