Help Lex & Geoff focus on the twins

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

As many of you may know by now, Lex & Geoff are expecting twins in December.
Lex found out she is having Monoamniotic twins also known as Mono Mono Twins. Monoamniotic twins are identical or semi-identical twins that share the same amniotic sac as well as share the same placenta. This type of twin pregnancy happens 1 in 60,000 pregnancies.

Lex & Geoff have been travelling every two weeks to Calgary, Alberta to see a specialist and have her routine check ups and ultrasounds.
On October 6th, 2021 Lex went into Calgary for her routine check up. Everything looked great. The twins are healthy and have strong heart beats. Back to Radium she goes.

October 7th - Lex went into Emergency Care in Invermere as she was having really awful cramping to the point of vomiting and felt as if she was having Braxton Hicks (false contractions). At 24 weeks, that can be very worrisome. She was later diagnosed with kidney stones in her left kidney that evening. Lex was hooked up to an IV to keep her hydrated to hopefully pass the stone and morphine for the pain.

October 8th - I received a text message from Lex at 12:02 p.m saying "My cervix has started to dilate I am being transferred to Calgary". A few hours pass and she tells me Calgary is full so they are air lifting her to BC Women's Hospital in Vancouver BC.

October 9th - Update from Lex: " They gave me two types of medication last night to stop the contractions from progressing and I only dilated .5 cm. I only had a few contractions throughout the night. They gave me the first steroid shot to start helping babes lungs develop yesterday so I will get the second shot today. Everyday that these beans can stay put counts!"
Later that day the doctor examined her left kidney, finding 10+ stones! The doctors have a very close watch on the twins to make sure they don't squish Lex's kidney and move the stones causing a blockage.

With all of this going on and happening so quickly and unexpectedly, Geoff is by her side in Vancouver. Which also means he is not working and financial stress is added to the picture. I/we do not want Lex & Geoff to have to worry about mortgage, truck, phones, food, necessities payments while they are in Vancouver. They will be there until after the twins are born so at least a few months stay. If you could help me raise some money to relieve any stress they may have and let them focus on Lex and the twins staying healthy, I know they would appreciate every cent.
I will keep everyone updated as I hear from Lex what is going on.

Please keep them in your thoughts and hopefully those twins can stay put for a while longer!
