Help Lexi and Corey Rebuild

THE BARN FIRE-
My cousin Lexi and her boyfriend Corey lost their beloved dairy show cow herd in a tragic barn fire in Vernon, VT in the pre-dawn hours of Monday, November 15th. The fire is believed to have been caused by old electrical wiring.
Many of you know Lexi, a 2020 graduate of UMASS Animal Science from Mass 4H, and the dairy show ring.
Yesterday, Lexi lost all but one of her show cows. Indiana was due to calf in just a few short weeks, her second daughter Illusion as well as the very special Betty White. These animals were not just farm animals to Lexi and Corey but their life’s work, beloved and more like their children. Lexi’s love for these animals, her dedication, and her hard work is known to everyone who meets her. The magnitude of this unbearable loss just can not be put into words. Please join us in rallying around Lexi and Corey in this time of need.
The tragedy of losing these animals and the grief they are enduring is immeasurable and while no amount of money could ever replace what they have lost in these beautiful creatures we are asking for donations to help Lexi and Corey rebuild. They will need to replace the material possessions they had in the barn including Lexi’s show box with clippers, barn accessories, hay, feed, and many of Corey's tools. The barn was a total loss and everything was destroyed by the fire.
The thought of starting a new herd immediately is too much for Lexi to begin to think about and she no longer has a place for them at this time. Money raised would help Lexi and Corey with replacing items and rebuilding their herd when the time is right.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have questions about donations!
Thank you so much!
